Summer Loving in Britain

We may have to prepare ourselves for the wettest summer in Britain in about a decade but we are used to that aren’t we? Besides, us Brits have a lot to look forward to over the coming months.

Wimbledon has already begun and with a lot of intimidating opposition dropping like flies the tournament beholds a glimmer of hope for golden boy Andy Murray. Pimm’s at the ready, everyone!

We’re also keeping our fingers crossed for the British and Irish Lions who are currently touring Australia. So far, they have won one out of three test matches. Are we set to become champions in the world of rugby? We shall wait with baited breath.

Alongside these major sporting events, summer 2013 is also a royally busy one. Earlier this month we celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation. Then, of course, there will be the arrival of Kate and Wills’ bundle of joy. A future monarch.

In preparation of this wonderful event my company, The London Kitchen, have conjured up some Royal Canapés. These noble nibbles will be ideal for a Royal Celebration Party, or indeed any prospective celebration in which we will be able to express our patriotism.

Take a look at our bites fit for a King (or prince or princess).
